We helped give one Saturday to show some amazing women that anything is possible
American Family Insurance and kathy ireland Worldwide came to BLVD looking to help promote and market their One Saturday to Dream Fearlessly event in Portland. Featuring brand ambassador Kathy Ireland, along with partners Amazon and ChickTech as well as numerous volunteers, this event inspired the next generation of women in technology to pursue their dreams. Local teenage girls in Portland experienced a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity spending the day with their mothers, super-entrepreneurs and power-house companies in hands-on activities, including building an Alexa skill, making soft circuit kits, envisioning their dreams on a vision board and even learning video game design.
BLVD’s role was to help boost attendance to provide this incredible opportunity to as many Portland girls as possible. AmFam’s goal was to reach max capacity (200 mothers and daughters) and through strategic event promotion and amplification, combined with digital and influencer marketing, BLVD ensured the event was sold out! Additionally, BLVD organized onsite and online digital influencers as well as marketing campaigns during the event in order to spread global awareness inspiring more girls and women in tech to dream fearlessly beyond Saturday too.
